End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features that are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space required to use these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an ideal alternative for applications which need regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
A lot of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments could arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All basic reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The tines also include a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
