Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Back-Up or Motion Alarms:
Motion alarms and backup alarms are audio device accessories that produce enough sound so that the sound is heard overtop the noises generated from the forklift itself.
The sound needs to be readily discernible from other audible devices or noises in the work setting. Sound must be readily discernible from other noise or audible devices within the work area. The audible device could end up contributing to OSHA noise limitation and to employee noise exposure; therefore, care has to be taken.
Determine the distance and direction the sound of the audible device is made more difficult because of the use of hearing protection. Audible devices can occasionally get deactivated from both employees and operators because they could find them irritating. Moreover, audible devices could also be objectionable to residents in the vicinity.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: To protect the operator from the elements, enclosed operator cabs made of tempered glass are used to help avoid injuries and reduce other issues. Moreover, these cabs feature an emergency exit via removing the window. The levels of noise are reduced at the operator's ear because of additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each specific application, the operator could choose the performance need. Furthermore, it enables a supervisor to set the unit's utmost performance for an operator who is just beginning to learn. Being able to reduce and adjust the maximum performance of the model allows a new operator to learn the operating characteristics of the machine in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: When the impact monitor is deactivated, a supervisor is needed to enable and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be certain to manage the equipment in a more controlled manner.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These particular mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
