Our manufacturing line consists of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting equipment, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other types of specialized lifting machinery and single rope radio control grabs.

Peiner has made and sold over 75,000 units for the worldwide market. Peiner's unique grabs could handle a wide array of materials and products like cement, iron ores, fertilizers, coke, refuse and scrap. Our many years of experience in the overall designing process and in developing high quality products helps to allow our customers receive the proven technology their diverse applications demand.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over 12 years in the US market place. Different businesses such as Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, as well as numerous other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities presently depending on our grabs and buckets to do their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the biggest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into moving more quantities of materials faster. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts. Through a combination of innovative design and high quality materials with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is attained.

Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Peiner USA Inc. also provides a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased within the USA, along with the addition of new grabs and buckets.
